NAPICU are delighted to host this one day local NAPICU Meeting at the IBIS Hotel Birmingham City Centre. This local quarterly meeting is set to be an informative and thought provoking day delivered by clinicians seeking constant improvement in services. The agenda focuses on providing delegates with an insight in to the recent Safewards project. We will have the opportunity to hear about the findings of that project from Karen James a Safewards researcher as well as a chance to reflect on the experience of participating teams.

Safewards presented at St Andrews Hospital, Northampton. The audience strongly supported the idea that the ten Safewards interventions were useful and relevant to Forensic and Learning Disability inpatient care.
