We have a supporter and friend in Cumbria Partnership NHS FT, and he is Angus Forsyth, the Nurse Consultant Adult Acute. Angus has been telling us that the staff in his trust were keen to hear more about Safewards, so we popped up to see them. What an absolutely fantastic bunch and what a lovely working lunch. Again, the wards had already taken steps to look at implementation and many are connected through facebook and twitter.

Soft Words, Clear Mutual Expectations, Calm Down Box and Discharge Messages all being talked about . Thanks to Angus, the managers, ward managers, OT’s , nurses and PMVA workers.

Oh yes – and Penrith is beautiful.
