I have had the pleasure working with ladies and gentleman of all ages and would like to see all wards have there own designated staff member taken control of SAFE WARDS its great that Taliesin have picked up the baton and ran with it and become 'the first ward in Wales' to be accredited but what about the other wards within our area, once all our services/wards start remembering they all share the same umbrella and are all part of the same team we can work on pushing out safe wards over the county which attains all the benefits who use all our services .

Great news for Taliesin but Safe wards now needs to be pushed harder and become more than a a4 poster on the memo board , maybe Taliesin could share the knowledge which in turn helps us all provide a great service

Hi S.Evans - do you work at Betsi? The 3 acute units were working together on a launch of Safewards, but now that we've gone back to a locality management structure, I get the impression that it's for all the units to sort themselves. Taliesin PICU are happy to have visitors to show how we've implemented specific interventions or the whole thing, including the snags, and ongoing issues. We can also come to you if you're fairly local.
