Have a question about Know Each Other? Had some experience with using it that you could share and that might help others? Found a particularly effective way of adapting it to your hospital? Please post it here in this section of the forum.
This was one intervention that we found pulled the team together . It got everyone talking and laughing when we were putting the folder together and we all discovered new things about each other. It's something we now point out to all new service users who come onto the ward and it's a real talking point. Some of the service users have commented that it helps them start a conversation with staff.
At long last here is our photo of champion Stacey Pugh with a page out of the Know Each Other folder! As expected, it has been the source of lots of chuckles and conversation in the making and then out on the ward. Still the usual pockets of resistance from a few stragglers but as we know, resistance is futile as the Safewards Dragons march on!
PS - I realised I'd posted this in the wrong bit of the forum, not that it matters, as nobody reads it anyway At least that's what I told Stacey when I took her photo!

Hi Everyone
I am a newly qualified nurse and I have to complete an improvement project as part of my preceptorship. I have decided that I am going to implement 'Know Each Other' . I was just wondering if anyone would share their experiences of implementing this intervention, for example, how they went about it, how it was received by staff and patients and any tips you might have.
Thanks in advance.
Jo
