South London and the Maudsley

The NPU is a specialist ward and its where our good friend Farida Pirani works. She asked us to pop in for a sandwich and a chat, and we did. While we there we just happened to have our presentation with us, so guess what. SAFEWARDS happened.

Great chat, comments and it even turns out the ward has a Comfort Box for one of its patients. Staff loved Know Each other as well. Luckily South London and Maudsley are rolling Safewards out, so the ward won’t have too much trouble getting resources. Hopefully we can get two or three on the go before the roll out happens!

Thanks to Farida, Ward Manager Liz Mott (who always asks really good questions) for a really enjoyable afternoon, and all the staff (nurses, OT’s, Psychologists) who attended.
