I'm here, checking things out. The site has just been switched to a new server, something fancy and virtualised. Don't understand it myself but it should make things more robust and expandable.

Hello :)

I work as a Charge Nurse in an adult Low Secure Unit, I intend to attempt to introduce some of the principles of Safewards into my clinical area, as well as to try to adopt the principles myself. As you may expect, there are significant issues relating to conflict and containment on the unit and I believe a change in attitudes and culture can go a long way towards reducing the number and level of incidents.

If at first you don't succeed...give up

Hello, I have just joined the forum. I have a meeting arranged to present Safewards to our senior nurse team in Feb and hopefully engage them in the implementation
