The NAPICU regional conference in Birmingham was graced by Ade Odubanwo and Karen James this morning as Safewards was given another airing.
It seems that there is great interest in the model and interventions in PICU’s (just look at the number of people who attended Karen and Ade’s talk). We are also getting enquires from secure and forensic services (Geoff Brennan is presenting to an adolescent forensic service on Monday) and we have also received an e-mail from someone working in a prison service.
It will be interesting to watch these developments. For now, well done Karen and Ade, and thanks to NAPICU and especially Paul Deacon for his organisational skills.
