Safewards presented at the Maybo conference today

Not just a presentation about Safewards itself, but additionally, after lunch, a detailed and challenging presentation abouyt the implications of Safewards, particularly Soft Words and Talk Down, for de-escalation training. Len Bowers suggest it is time to move beyond the traditional 5+1 format into individualised development plans for staff, supported by managers, clinical supervision and trainers together.
